We offer a 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan (Plan) to all regular, full-time KCPD employees. As a KCPD employee, the Plan is a savings vehicle that has been created specifically for you to assist in saving and investing for long term retirement needs. In addition to your participation in either the Police Retirement System of Kansas City or Civilian Employees’ Retirement System of the Police Department of Kansas City, the Plan is an additional tax deferred vehicle to help you save towards retirement.
